Update on the Voices Through Time Kickstarter!
The great news is the Voices Through Time Kickstarter was my most successful so far! I'm excited to share the books, upgrades, and merch with everyone who pledged. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped spread the word!
The better news is I decided to keep Late Pledges open until at least November 6! This means you can still get in on the campaign, or if you already have, let folks who might be interested know all about it.
Best of all? Thanks to my wonderful backers, we added several cool updates, features, and freebies that are still available during Late Pledges!
Aside from Stretch Goals, I got inspired and decided to add fun chapter headings to all versions of the Voices Through Time omnibus, the Moments Through Time short story collection, and the novellas Secret Wishes on Dandelion Seeds and Walking the Ghosts.
Neither the chapter headers nor the antique postcard images, history notes, and inspiration notes will be included in retail editions of Voices Through Time or the Add-On books. And backers will get everything months before they're available anywhere else!
I'm also working on reading orders for the series: one that I recommend for story flow, and the other chronological. I've got a couple of ideas about how to make it fancy and fun.
Backers at ANY level will get a pdf of both reading orders.
I also created a new tier for digital backers or folks who just want access to cool merch like reproduction antique postcards, calendars, and jigsaw puzzles. For $6 US, you'll get a set of three mini postcards in the mail, and you can choose physical Add-Ons that make great holiday gifts.
These are about the size of a business card, and I had a great time picking out images that look good at that size. Several aren't featured anywhere else!
ALL backers at $16 US or above get ALL the Stretch Goals we unlock together so no one's left out!
My fabulous backers have unlocked ten more postcard images in all versions of Voices Through Time, along with notes about history and how they inspired me. That's a solid forty pages and more than forty images!
Backers will also get phone and computer wallpapers with antique images to give your electronics a touch of Appalachian history.
I'll be adding the same inspiration images and how they shaped the tales to Secret Wishes on Dandelion Seeds and Moments Through Time. A few will overlap since they're all in the world of Voices Through Time, but I'll make sure to include new ones. :)
And no worries if you haven't picked up those Add-On books. All backers at $16 US or higher will get a special spoiler-free e-book including those extra images, history, and inspiration notes!
Now all backers at the $16 US level and higher get a bonus short story that takes place at the end of Voices Through Time!
Physical and digital backers of The Story Year of Antique Postcards get an extra postcard and epilogue. And all backers at $16 US and higher will get a digital version of the Chapter One postcard in the exclusive year-long story.
Physical backers will get a printed copy of the first postcard, too!
Backers also get a chance to make this introvert talk on camera! Our Zoom call will feature tips on using images as story seeds, with plenty of time for questions for fellow writers any anyone wondering how our minds work.
I'm leaving late pledges open until at least November 6, 2026, so you've still got a bit more time. I'm so looking forward to sharing everything!
The upgraded books will be available to buy right here next year, but without all the extra freebies. And the fancy versions will never be on retailers at all.
Hope to see you inside!
